Dance Studio

 We all start somewhere. Our all-inclusive training class
offers a well-rounded versatile training for stage and on-camera.
Students will cover methodology, technique for the following:
auditions/on- camera/commercial/feature film & TV. Scene
analysis, character attack, visual storytelling, actor preparation
philosophy are covered. Students also learn a melding of techniques
called “front loading.” Students will perform and be taped.
Enrolled students will receive discounts for workshops and
intensives. Actors need to be versatile and need to learn the
fundamentals of acting not just how to be in a production. This
drop-in class is perfect for new comers as well as experienced
actors. Ages 6-10 this class is a great next step after SHOOTING
STARS! Perofrmance opportunities.

JUNIOR 3 Classes a Week!

ACADEMY YOUTH: 280.00 a month (70.00 a week/ 10.00 a class) REQUIRED: 5 classes a week
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: 2 additional classes
Total:  5 required-- 7 offered 
To meet the needs of students who are interested/passionate or show potential at an advanced level. The requirements help the student grow in a healthy way and at the same time open doors beyond our community.
This conservatory-esque program has specific objectives, benchmarks, and a comprehensive training philosophy to help students reach goals such as: professional training programs, college admissions, performing arts programs, ballet/dance companies, and auditions for professional work. 
A student may not have these goals but simply love training and performing at the highest personal level. 
THE ACADEMY has two divisions: Dance and Theatrical. The Dance Division offers training in classical and contemporary dance. The Theatrical Division offers training in acting, singing, and musical theater (students are also enrolled in Dance Division classes).
This program is for selective students who show passion and promise. Students must be referred or invited to pre-screen for consideration. Students who currently train with Performing Arts Louisville can bypass the screening process per an instructor’s recommendation.
The Academy is an all inclusive program that will propel the student towards specific developmental and performance goals. Attendance is a key factor to the success of the program. Students can plan on spending multiple days training.  


ACADEMY YOUTH

ACADEMY JUNIOR: 300.00 a month REQUIRED: 7 classes a week INCLUDED IN 
Total:  7 required-- over 10 offered  based on placement
