July 2015 Release
Our July release has arrived – and with it some splendid improvements for your business. As always, many of these are driven directly by your requests. Your feedback is important to us! Read on to learn more.
Bookable assets (beta)
If your business uses bookable assets that are not tied directly to services, create them within WellnessLiving to allow clients an easy way to book and pay for their use. Some examples of bookable assets might be a room at your studio, a bike, a reformer, or specialized gym equipment. For more information, see bookable assets.
Find clients more effectively
Have special sub-groups of clients that you want to review or that special client whose name escapes you? The client list now features the ability to filter by custom field allowing you to find the people you’re looking for faster than ever.
Staff role redesign
Staff roles have been completely redesigned to make things more straightforward and easy to manage. We’re especially proud of the granularity of permission control we provide. Give your staff members as much or as little control as you want – and enjoy the ability to make the tiniest of tweaks!
Payment Plans
Hosting an event that costs several hundred to several thousand dollars? Have interested clients that wince and shy away from the large price tag? Offer multiple payment plans to suit the needs of your clients. Any number of payments can be made over any payment period – effectively allowing your clients to pay for the services they’re dying to attend. For more information, see payment plans.
Improved controls for purchase options
Have an old purchase option that you didn’t intend to sell that is still being used by a select few clients? Disabling a purchase option simply disallows it from being sold – but a new option has been implemented to allow staff to fully disable the use of a purchase option once it has been disabled. Make sure any clients with the purchase option are aware of your reasons for doing so!
Online store widget
The full online store can now be embedded into your website directly. Sell products, purchase options, and packages to your clients without the need for them to leave your businesses website. For more information, see widgets.
Event features
Many new changes are coming to events: Events can now be booked as a whole or on a per-session basis. In addition, make up sessions will allow clients who canceled early to attend future event instances to fill in their missed knowledge. Stay sharp – we’re switching back to “Enrollments”, but don’t get confused, functionality remains the same.

Packages can now include products
Wanted to offer an introductory package with a complementary branded shirt? Perhaps you want to offer customers an all-in-one package that includes the necessary items for your specialized classes or events? Now you can. Add products to packages to add value or offer more in depth, complete options for your clients.
Import products
WellnessLiving is now able to import products from third party providers such as MindBody. Speak to your WellnessLiving Specialist for more information.
Improved schedule look and feel settings
New look and feel settings allow you to customize appointment titles, and select the colors that display staff availability and unavailability.
Appointment rewards
Reward your customers for taking specific appointments with the newly included appointment reward options.
Attach files to customer profiles
Attach any type of file directly to customer profiles through the newly included Documents tab.
