Find Out Why RhinoFit Clients Are Switching Software
RhinoFit automates operational tasks for gym owners including class scheduling and membership management. It’s advertised as affordable and easy to use.
However, RhinoFit clients are not satisfied with the software’s performance. Read on to learn about their experiences and why many have found themselves looking up how to cancel RhinoFit.
A User Reported Several Problems with RhinoFit’s Software
One user, Brandon, reported a negative experience with nearly every aspect of RhinoFit, from reporting and automation to customer service and payments.
“This service is terrible,” he says. “They offer no historical reports of any of your membership or incomes. You can’t look back at any months and see billing… You have to manually check who’s paying bills every month.”
He also claims he couldn’t get any support to help with these issues. “Customer service is atrocious,” he explains. “I’ve lost count of how many times I called, and no one answered. When they did answer, they frequently had no solution.”
It’s no surprise that Brandon ultimately canceled his plan. However, he says he was unable to get any money back. “They prebill,” he elaborates. “I canceled my subscription on the last day of my billing cycle, but they said that they had already run my card and could not/would not issue any refund.” He was understandably frustrated and concluded his review saying he’d recommend a number of more expensive software solutions over RhinoFit.
Numerous Users Gave RhinoFit One Star in Online Reviews
As of August 2024, RhinoFit has 21 one-star reviews on GetApp, where users report a range of problems from user interface to customer service.
One user, Chris R., claims the software has an outdated appearance and reports trouble getting customer support.
“Their system appears like a first-year web dev student created it... and there’s not much you can do to make it look any better. There was even an occurrence where the sign up form on my website was coded incorrectly and bits of code were visible,” he explains.
When he tried to get customer support for other issues related to payment processing, he claims he could not get an answer within a reasonable time frame. “The moment you get credit card processing… you have to pay. Customer service will effectively disappear if you have any complaints about it, so don’t count on getting timely responses,” he says.
Derel C., who used RhinoFit daily for over a year, also reported customer support and billing issues. He says he was “over charged” and “nothing the sales red said was the truth.” He also experienced “numerous glitches that caused billing issues.”
Another reviewer, Jason B., used RhinoFit daily for over six months. He claims he received no help getting set up and suspects that RhinoFit wants to get business owners to pay for this type of support. “They offer no help with setup, and it’s convoluted to the point where it seems they want to sell you on paying them to set it up for you,” he says. “Customer service isn’t very helpful.”
Users Have Major Difficulties Getting the Software to Work
Functionality issues seem never-ending. Some users noticed bits of code on their lead forms, making them look unprofessional. The user interface was confusing, and membership management was tedious.
“You will constantly make a tiny error that resets an entire action you were performing,” says Jason B. “There have been almost no feature updates since I joined, and it feels dated.” In his review, he also calls membership management “a hot mess.”
“If you want to make a change to a membership, like modifying your pricing, too bad. You need to create a new membership, [then go into each member profile and apply it],” he explains.
Additionally, advertised features were nonexistent. RhinoFit software promises automated emails and easy reporting, but Jason lost entire emails because of the UI. “There’s no record of the emails you’ve sent from the system. The reporting functions are way too basic and extremely confusing,” he said.
To make matters worse, users were locked into three-year agreements with RhinoFit’s payment provider. “It costs $400 to cancel,” Jason explained. “And if you cancel RhinoFit but not the provider agreement they’ll charge you each month regardless.”
Your software solution should free you from administrative tasks, not trap you with hidden fees while not delivering promised features.
