Find Out Why Clients Who Use Schedulicity for Business Are Switching Software
Schedulicity is an all-in-one scheduling software for small businesses and service providers including massage therapists, personal trainers, and other wellness specialists. They also offer tools for marketing, payments, and class management.
Overall, Schedulicity aims to help clients by simplifying marketing and helping them get paid on time. However, the software has its hiccups. Technical bugs, glitches, scheduling issues, and tax troubles are the main issues clients have complained about. Check out these Schedulicity reviews to learn more.
Schedulicity Reviews: Business Owners Report Bugs and Glitches Using Schedulicity
Users criticize Schedulicity for bugs, glitches, and disruptive updates despite claims of user-friendly booking and full business control. They report issues that persist for months including checkout malfunctions.
One user, Nadia D., claims things went smoothly at first, but she eventually experienced ongoing issues with the checkout function for months. “I liked the ability to quickly check out clients and track packages, but this functionality has had bugs for at least six months,” she explains. As a result, her clients experience a clunky checkout process.
She went on to discuss how frequent updates only change the software’s appearance instead of checking for bugs and improving longstanding technical problems. She cites the “absolute waste of time spent on non-sensical aesthetic icons,” and says that “The developers’ time could have been better spent fixing the bugs and developing a QA team!”
Updates should be well thought out and notably improve your software experience. Unfortunately, this doesn’t always appear to be the case with Schedulicity for business. Additionally, it seems there’s room for improvement within their payment tools.
Schedulicity Doesn’t Add Taxes to Package Deals Set Up by Business Owners
One user, Mindy A., faced tax processing issues when using Schedulicity for business despite its promise of swift payment processing. For example, while she could add taxes to regular products and services, one business owner struggled to do so for packages, which comprised most of her sales.
Schedulicity’s suggested workaround involved inflating package prices to include taxes, potentially deterring clients and increasing accounting time.
“I think it’s unacceptable that a business can add tax to any products or services EXCEPT PACKAGES. It makes absolutely no sense,” she says, “packages/class session packs are how I sell most sessions to clients.”
She found Schedulicity’s solution unsatisfactory. They “suggested that I just include taxes on my listed prices for packages. This is a terrible suggestion as the pricing will appear high, at a glance, when packages are supposed to appear to be reduced in price,” she explains.
She goes on to note that “Schedulicity boasts about how it makes it easy for business owners to track taxes and run reports, yet since I sell a lot of packages, I can’t simply run a report to see how much tax I have collected in a year. With Schedulicity’s suggestion to include tax in my packages, I’d have to create extra accounting steps for some purchases but not others.”
Schedulicity Online Scheduling: Clients Have Trouble Seeing Class Details within App
Schedulicity’s online scheduling should make it easy to find necessary information about classes and sessions. However, Mindy A. had difficulty finding class details within the app. As a result, she says she was bombarded with questions already addressed in the class details.
“In the client app, it’s hard for a client to see the details of the classes they sign up for,” she explains. “None of my clients have ever been able to see [the details] button, so they text me unnecessarily with questions that should be easier to find in the app.”
You deserve an app that makes business management easier and does what it promises.
