Behind the Build: Meet the Customers Who Shaped Release 65

“What I appreciate most is that the WellnessLiving team listens, asks the right questions, and communicates transparently about timelines.”
– Mathew Cassidy, National Virtual Service Manager, LIVunLtd
Every great update starts with real-world feedback from businesses like yours. Release 65 wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible insights, ideas, and persistence of our community. Today, we’re giving a huge shoutout to the businesses that played a key role in shaping this release.
These businesses didn’t just request features—they shared their challenges, tested solutions, and helped make WellnessLiving better for everyone. We’re excited to follow up with them in the coming months to see how these updates have impacted their operations!
Let’s meet the winners who helped bring the features in Release 65 to life.
Mathew Cassidy from LIVunLtd
📍 U.S. & Canada – Visit LIVunLtd
As North America’s largest single-source provider of fitness and wellness amenities, LIVunLtd supports everything from corporate wellness and luxury residences to university and commercial fitness centers.
Mathew Cassidy, National Virtual Service Manager, shared extensive feedback to help streamline operations across LIVunLtd’s many locations. From enhanced privacy controls and staff permission settings, to multi-location scheduling tools and language toggles, their team helped shape several key updates in Release 65.
The result? A more connected, secure, and scalable system that supports complex organizations without compromising simplicity for staff or clients.
Terry and Adela Blevin from Life’s Tread Yoga and Fitness
📍 Glen Rock, NJ – Visit Life’s Tread Yoga and Fitness
At Life’s Tread Yoga and Fitness, owners Terry and Adela Blevin noticed a major drop-off: potential clients were leaving their website before completing a booking. The culprit? An outdated scheduling experience that took clients away from the site.
Their feedback, along with insights from other customers, sparked the creation of our new Custom Schedule Widget—a sleek, mobile-friendly tool that keeps clients on the site and focused on booking. With filter tabs, faster load times, and customizable branding, the new widget helps businesses like Life’s Tread create a smoother, more modern online experience.
Cathy VanKuiken from Funky Buddha Yoga Hothouse
📍 Grand Rapids, MI – Visit Funky Buddha Yoga Hothouse
Funky Buddha Yoga Hothouse is known for its high-energy hot yoga classes, welcoming community, and commitment to accessibility. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned yogi, they make sure you feel at home.
But behind the scenes, Operations Director Cathy VanKuiken and her team noticed a problem: clients were getting bombarded with multiple notifications about expiring passes and memberships—all on the same day. That’s a recipe for confusion.
Thanks to their feedback, we developed a single, clear notification that consolidates all expiring memberships into one message. Now, clients get the information they need without inbox overload.
Brandon Kietzman from Original Hot Yoga Traverse City

📍 Traverse City, MI – Visit Original Hot Yoga
For over 20 years, Original Hot Yoga Traverse City has been a go-to spot for traditional 90-minute hot yoga that helps people build strength, reduce pain, and feel their best.
Owner Brandon Kietzman raised an issue that many business owners face—staff permissions weren’t flexible enough to prevent unauthorized profile merges or financial adjustments.
With his input, we introduced new staff permission settings that give business owners more control over profile merges, account balances, and bookings. Now, businesses can decide exactly who has access to what—no more unexpected surprises in your system.
Garth Hewitt from Shiva Yoga Practice
📍 West Hollywood, CA – Visit Shiva Yoga Practice
Shiva Yoga Practice is all about authenticity, offering a peaceful space in West Hollywood where people can deepen their yoga practice.
Owner Garth Hewitt had a simple but important request—a better way for clients to check themselves in without staff having to manually track attendance.
His feedback led to Attendance Mode in the Self Check-In App, which lets clients select their class, mark themselves as present, and get started—all without waiting in line at the front desk.
Katrina Wyckoff from Vertica Fitness
📍 Multiple Locations – Visit Vertica Fitness
Vertica Fitness is all about community. They offer inclusive pole fitness training and classes across multiple locations, helping clients achieve their fitness goals.
Founder Katrina Wyckoff needed a way to sync memberships across multiple locations, so clients with a membership at one studio could access content at all locations.
With her help, we developed a centralized FitVID membership system, allowing business owners to manage video memberships across locations without requiring separate purchases.
Kelsey Willhite from KickHouse
📍 Multiple Locations – Visit KickHouse
KickHouse brings a fresh, modern approach to kickboxing, giving people of all fitness levels a fun, empowering way to train.
Director of Operations Kelsey Willhite needed better insights into lead conversion—how many new leads actually book a class, how many show up, and how many sign up for memberships.
Her feedback helped shape new Booking & Conversion Metrics in the Lead Management Report, making it easier to track every step of the client journey. Now, businesses can measure success at a glance and optimize their marketing efforts.
Dr. Alison Miller from The Academic Writers’ Space
📍 Online Community – Visit The Academic Writers’ Space
The Academic Writers’ Space (TAWS) is a virtual hub where researchers and scholars get the structure and support they need to focus and write.
Founder Dr. Alison Miller noticed that time zone issues and Daylight Saving Time shifts were causing scheduling headaches for international clients.
Her insights helped drive automated DST adjustments and clearer time zone labels, ensuring that sessions always start at the correct time—no more accidental no-shows due to time zone mix-ups.
Jeff Martens from Inner Vision Yoga
📍 Multiple Locations – Visit Inner Vision Yoga
Inner Vision Yoga is dedicated to helping students build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness through a variety of yoga classes.
Co-owner Jeff Martens flagged an issue with session pass activation—passes were activating based on the first booked class instead of the first attended class, creating extra admin work for staff.
Thanks to his feedback, we updated the system to automatically adjust the activation date when a client reschedules their first visit, making things smoother for both clients and staff.
