Users Report that Karmasoft Customer Service Isn’t Supportive
Business owners need responsive and reliable customer service. According to Karmasoft reviews, clients had trouble simply contacting customer support.
One user named Sam claims they received inadequate support for technical issues and reported that the help function didn’t even work.
“Terrible support when trying to deal with a system problem” they explain. “The help function doesn’t work. No one bothers to reply to emails. It’s a very frustrating experience when you’re trying to run a business.” This frustration seems justified, given that Karmasoft’s website advertises their ability to simplify business management.
Another user named Erica M. claims customer support dropped off after a few months. Fed up, she tried to end her subscription. However, customer service didn’t respond. Ultimately, she had to text and then call Karmasoft’s owner directly.
Erica says Karmasoft agreed on when her final charge would be processed. Imagine her surprise when she was still charged after that. Again, she reports dealing with unresponsive customer support with no resolution in sight.
“I became frustrated with their customer service and decided to move back to my old software. I emailed. Nothing,” she explains. “I texted the owner and received this response, ‘Please email or text me the date you want to be taken offline.’”
Erica claims the owner tried to appease her, but she’d understandably made up her mind. Finally, over the phone, they agreed that June would be the last month she was charged for the software. “Guess what. I was charged again!” Erica says. “I emailed the owner and got a bot response to use their online Help Center, with no personal follow up. Texted the owner. No response.”
Erica wasn’t the only user with payment-related issues. Other users reported trouble with in-studio transactions.
Business Owner Reports That They Never Unable to Charge Clients for Services
Karmasoft boasts a fully integrated payment system. However, one business owner, Lori A., claims she had a negative experience getting her payment system set up.
She says she worked directly with the owner of Karmasoft but dealt with errors that prevented her from accepting client payments. In her review, she details her experience and says she was “humiliated” by these errors and how they impacted her client experience.
“The owner felt the need to take over my account but followed through with nothing! He even said the things he didn’t tie up before his vacation were interrupting his time with his family,” she explains. “He was supposed to do so many things: send emails for credit card info, import information properly, and enable us to take credit cards once our merchant account was set up.”
Unfortunately, Lori says her client information was imported incorrectly. “My clients’ info was imported wrong. The emails and names were completely mixed up,” she confirms.
Lori also reports being unfairly charged for a payment terminal and not getting adequate customer support. “Karmasoft charged me for a terminal I never agreed to and I’m still paying for it!” she says.
Additionally, the owner allegedly wouldn’t let anyone else on the support team handle the issues. “He was on vacation, so it was not easy getting in touch with him. He refused to have anyone else help me even though I asked multiple times,” she explains.
It seems the ordeal only ended once Lori’s financial team helped her switch software. “I was ready to close my business,” she says. “I was so humiliated by Karmasoft plus the fact that I couldn’t charge my customers. Thankfully I have a financial team that helped me switch software.”
