We Released Plenty of Communication and Online Tools to Enhance Your Business
Despite a global pandemic, 2021 was another big year for us at WellnessLiving. Between the beginning of 2020 to the end of 2021, we climbed from 9.3 million users to 15 million users worldwide. As one of the fastest-growing tech companies in North America, we were also proudly named as recipients of the 2021 Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ and Fast 500™ awards. In November, we also hosted our first annual DREAM Virtual Summit for fitness & wellness professionals, which was a huge success.
While the last two years have been challenging, rest assured we’ve been hard at work by developing cutting-edge tools to help you overcome anything the pandemic has thrown your way. To help your hybrid business stay flexible, we enhanced our livestreaming and on-demand video features. On top of that, we’ve provided tools that help you attract, engage, and retain your clients.
The fitness & wellness industry has changed, and we adapted along with it. Here are some of the biggest enhancements to our all-in-one software that we made in the last year.
Message Center: Instantly Reach Leads & Clients Wherever They Are
It’s important for us to provide you with the right tools to communicate with your clients, whether that’s reminding clients to book a service or promoting your exclusive offer.
With SMS open rates as high as 98% and response rates 295% higher than phone calls, texting is now the new standard in customer service. In 2021, we upgraded our SMS function with the launch of Message Center—a direct communication channel that enables you to engage in real-time, two-way SMS conversations. With many users preferring two-way texting, not only is this tool perfect to ensure your messages are being read, but it can result in improved retention rates, greater conversions, and an enhanced client experience.
FitLIVE: Fully-Integrated Live Streaming Solution
2020 was the year we all went virtual. In 2021, many fitness studio owners continued to focus on building a hybrid business, offering a combination of in-person and online services. As a result, the global online fitness industry is expected to grow from $10.71 billion to $59 billion by 2027.
To provide our customers with the best virtual tools, we took our Zoom integration to the next level with the release of FitLIVE—our fully-integrated livestreaming service. With FitLIVE, you can easily host and manage your virtual services without the need for third-party apps.
This upgrade to our virtual services offered streamlined setting options designed for fitness businesses. Now WellnessLiving customers could automatically upload livestreaming recordings to FitVID on Demand library and track key livestreaming insights, such as attendance, cancellations, views, all within the WellnessLiving platform.
FitVID on Demand: More Control Over Your Virtual Library
An on-demand video library became the perfect value addition to memberships, providing clients with more variety and convenience they wouldn’t otherwise have experienced. With 70% of active adults utilizing on-demand fitness videos, it’s a trend that isn’t going anywhere.
Rather than competing with brands like Echelon or Peloton, boutique studios can personalize the on-demand fitness experience by organizing videos to help clients obtain their goals. In 2020, we launched FitVID on Demand to make video content readily available to your clients. After a virtual class ends, you could upload, store, and organize your class recordings right in WellnessLiving. It was a huge success! So, in 2021 we continued to develop this feature by:
- Adding FitVID on Demand to the Achieve Client App, so clients can view videos from their mobile devices.
- Strengthening our reports, allowing you to track and manage your FitVID video activity, so you can see what videos are performing at their best, including how much time clients are spending watching videos.
- Improving control of your videos by providing clients with a seamless searching experience so they can view them based on their preferences and interests.
Presence™ Custom Website Builder is More Flexible than Ever!

Isaac AI Assistant Will Transform Your 2022 Retention Strategy
We ended 2021 with the highly anticipated launch of Isaac AI Assistant with the release of Isaac Churn Risk Report. Isaac’s powerful machine learning algorithm can predict future client attrition with 87% accuracy.
With about half of all new gym and fitness members quitting within three months, the ability to predict client churn risk ahead of time is a game-changing advantage that will revolutionize how you run your business.
How does it work?
Isaac AI is working hard in the background by analyzing thousands of client data points. At the start of each month, Isaac AI will provide you with a detailed churn risk report that identifies clients who are at risk of churning in the upcoming month with an 87% accuracy rate. Now it’s time to be proactive and call, email, or send an SMS message to clients at risk of churn and boost rapport with personalized messages using WellnessLiving’s powerful marketing tools.
