The 2019 USA Yoga Nationals wrapped up recently and the WellnessLiving team is thrilled to have been part of such a prestigious event.
About USA Yoga Nationals
Held on August 2nd to August 4th in Lynchburg, VA— the USA Yoga Nationals is an extension of the Yoga Asana competitions, originating in India hundreds of years ago. This event is held by USA Yoga, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and promoting Yoga Asana.
The USA Yoga Nationals brings the spirit of healthy competition to the yoga community in the United States where, according to the most recent study by Yoga Journal and Yoga Alliance, there are more than 36 million yoga-practitioners in America today.
The USA Yoga Nationals is an invitational competition, requiring attendees to submit a video entry, as well as having competed in one of the four regional events held by Yoga Asana to qualify. Needless to say, it was a pretty big deal

The USA Yoga Nationals event was a fantastic opportunity for our team to meet industry professionals, gain brand recognition in the yoga realm and observe the competitors at their best.
What Happened at the Event?
The WellnessLiving experience started with our team driving to the USA Yoga Nationals together. We made the 4-hour trip from Washington, DC to Lynchburg, VA, right on the heels of the Boutique Fitness Summit!
We were pleased to support this event and spread brand awareness, and we really embraced the spirit of yoga, attending local yoga classes as a team each day.
Once the USA Yoga Nationals began, we welcomed attendees to our booth, introduced our business management software, offered free snacks, and chatted with yoga professionals and practitioners. We were even able to bring a WellnessLiving media wall for all the picture taking!
Our booth was right in front of the stage, so we had the perfect vantage point to watch the competitors and the panel of expert judges presiding over the competition. The MC provided interesting commentary and the experience was intense, with respectful silence occurring during each performance.
The WellnessLiving team was happy and proud to join with the yoga community to help its growth and to spread the word about USA Yoga’s mission.
